    The entire point of the First Amendment of our Constitution is that you have the freedom to not be compelled to do things you don't want to do, and you are able to express your views as you see fit. To sit for the national anthem may not be popular, but nobody can argue that he doesn't have the right to do that. .less

    I agree with his right to do it but not his protest. America no longer oppresses minorities and he is very wrong in that area. He, however, like all of us, has the right to stand up or sit down for the national anthem. Hes a bad player nevertheless and this was likely a PR stunt because hes gonna get canned. .less
